Pudding Norton College (picture from their current prospectus) made the education news this week, when former High Master Albert Hall, alias John Brecon, was hanged in Cairo for forgery. The management of the college issued a pres release praising his efforts at fundraising for the school on his arrest.Then they found out the charge, and sent Mr. Allen S. Bank, senior tutor and enforcer to Cairo to see that the sentence was carried out.

No doubt they sent him because they don't want anyone to know that he was forging on behalf of the college.
No, he fled there due to the UK arrest warrant for burglary.
No doubt to raise funds for the College.
That's what he said, but it turned out he kept most of the proceeds.
Aha! Now I understand why they wanted him hanged!
